The easiest way to travel to Hvar is via the various travel agencies in Europe. They offer package holidays or just flights to the Airport of Split, including the transfer to the island.

If you travel by car, take the motorway to Split that is still under work but will be finished by 2004.




From the port of Split, take the ferry-boat to Starigrad (main port) at a cost of € 4.00 per person and around € 25 per car (no advance reservation)
